Verizon ATM supports all five major service classes defined by The ATM Forum:

• Constant Bit Rate (CBR)
• Variable Bit Rate — Not Real Time (VBR-NRT)
• Variable Bit Rate — Real Time (VBR-RT)
• Available Bit Rate (ABR)
• Unspecified Bit Rate (UBR)
