Internet Dedicated Access

Internet Dedicated Access is a suite of dedicated Internet products offering always-on, high-bandwidth, dedicated connections.

Options:

• T1 (768 Kbps) — Provides scaled-down T1 service capped at 768 Kbps with fixed monthly billing
• T1 (1.544 Mbps) — Allows 30 or more users to transmit high-capacity email traffic and large files
• NxT1 multi-link frame relay (MLFR) — Provides incremental, managed increases in bandwidth from 3 Mbps to 12 Mbps for flexible, scalable, low-end service access
• T3 — Supports fast response times and large file transfers for a busy Web site, and offers regional Internet access; available in a variety of speeds up to 45 Mbps

Burstable:

• This option provides billing flexibility and is ideal if your bandwidth needs vary from day to day or month to month
• You receive full access to line bandwidth and pay only for the amount of bandwidth that you use on a sustained level (95th percentile)

Burstable Select:

• This option provides billing flexibility and is ideal if your bandwidth needs vary from day to day or month to month
• You specify a bandwidth commitment and are billed to the nearest 1 Mbps for any usage over the commitment in a given month
• You pay only for the amount of bandwidth that you use on a sustained level (95th percentile)

Tiered:

• Fixed monthly pricing is based on the bandwidth tier
• A full circuit is provisioned at the time of installation
• Your bandwidth is capped at the level you desire
• You can easy upgrade to the next tier

Price-Protected:

• You get full-access line bandwidth at all times with a single, flat monthly cost
• This option is ideal for businesses that require full T1 service on a sustained level
• Steady monthly cost makes budgeting easy

Diverse:

• This option accommodates businesses whose primary concern is redundancy
• Capability to provision two access lines to different Verizon-owned high-speed hubs

• We provision both access lines to the same Verizon-owned hub and the same gateway router

Shadow:

• Shadow is a redundant service option that provides an automatic backup connection in the event of a primary access line failure
• A second access line is commissioned from your premises to Verizon’s backbone
• In an outage situation, border gateway protocol (BGP) multi-exit discriminators (MEDs) reroute traffic
