Overview

With Verizon Web Conferencing, your colleagues and clients can view materials or presentations over the Internet while listening to the meeting on the telephone. All you need is a PC, a phone and a browser.

Service Plans

Verizon offers three Net Conferencing service plans — Reserved, Instant and Advanced.

We have the right level of service for your next small or large event — everything from unattended self-service to a fully outsourced, Verizon-moderated conference. We can even provide you with a unique URL with your own branding so you can schedule and launch Web conferences.

Reserved Net Conference: For larger events

You can schedule conferences for a specific date and time or for a series of specific dates and times
Reserved Net Conference is available on Standard and Premier Audio Conferences
Customers can reserve meetings either by calling into the Reservations Center or by using Manage My Meetings at least 30 minutes prior to the start time
For high-visibility events, a Meeting Manager can be available to assist prior to and during the meeting
All Premier and Standard Audio Conferencing features are available

Instant Net Conference: For small meetings

This service is for 100 or fewer participants who do not need help in conducting Web conferences
Meetings are not reserved
Employees keep the same meeting number and pass codes so meetings can be scheduled at a moment’s notice
Leaders must have a Manage My Meetings user name and password to start an Instant Net Conference

Advanced Net Conference

This self-serve tool allows leaders to quickly start or schedule a meeting
Leaders can access from Manage My Meetings
Platform options are flexible
Quick first call — no time is needed to create the conference site
Leaders do reporting
Virtually all vendor features are available
You can have multiple subscriptions and can control passwords
Meeting content remains available over multiple meetings (Microsoft® Live Meeting only)

Flexible Pricing

You can choose pricing based on rate per minute or rate per seat.

Chat

Internet “chat” technology allows leaders and participants to exchange messages during a Web conference.

Net Q&A

Conference presenters and participants can exchange questions and answers via Internet “chat” technology.

Net Q&A Report

This convenient, time-saving feature stores participant questions in a Microsoft Word document so moderators can answer questions later.

Snapshot

Presenters can capture applications, documents and anything else they want to share with participants.

Text

Conference presenters can type their notes online — in full view of all participants.

Print to PDF

This feature prints the conference presentation to a PDF.

File Download

Leaders can download the conference presentation to a file for posting on a Web site at a later time.

Net Polling Report

You can generate a report of responses to polling questions, including the names of the participants, in a concurrent versions system (CVS) file — a useful feature for follow-up training, testing and research.

File Transfer

Leaders can allow participants to download a file.

Web Conference Video

Presenters may use a Webcam to give a one-way video during a Web conference.
